Chamber Music Festival at Lundsgaard Estate, Kerteminde
11th – 13th August 2017
A strong international team of musicians are warming up to present a selection of great programs when one of Denmark’s top chamber ensembles, Trio con Brio Copenhagen, and five other other top musicians perform at The Chamber Music Festival 11th-13th August 2017. The concerts take place in the newly rebuilt concert hall ’Anexet’ at the Lundsgaard Estate.
The musicians are
Trio con Brio Copenhagen, piano trio (DK/KR)
Soo-Jin Hong, violin
Soo-Kyung Hong, cello
Jens Elvekjær, piano
Andrej Bielow, violin (UA)
Nils Mönkemeyer, viola (DE)
Michaela Fukačová, cello (CZ/DK)
Enrico Pace, piano (IT)
Inger Dam Jensen, soprano (DK)
As well as three young Danish super talents
Kirstine Schneider, violin (DK)
Nicholas Swensen, viola (DK)
Jonathan Swensen, cello (DK)
Seven concerts in just three days make the festival an intensely interesting experience. The music is partly by the classical masters like Beethoven, Brahms and Schumann, but the festival also presents more recent works by Schostakovitch, Berg, Strauss and several others.
The perfectly tuned acoustic of Anexet is extremely well suited for the six chamber music concerts. The late-night concert in Kerteminde Church promises a different and more meditative experience.
As a special feature, you will meet all the performers during the entire festival and they will combine in different formations for the concerts, which are all built upon Turning Point as a theme.
The Lundsgaard Estate is situated just outside the small town Kerteminde – a scenic background for the festival – close to both woodlands and the sea.
